How Do I Send My Enquiry?
Fill in our short form with your contact details, postcode and what you are interested in — it takes about 30 seconds.
The process starts with a short form. You tell us your name, phone number, email, postcode and what you're interested in — solar panels only, solar panels with battery storage, battery storage only, or simply that you'd like advice. There's no obligation at this stage. Once we receive your enquiry, one of our Scottish-based advisors gets in touch, usually within one working day, to answer any initial questions and arrange a convenient time for your survey.
What Happens During the Home Survey?
Our surveyor visits your home to assess your roof, orientation, shading, energy usage and overall property condition — at no cost and with no obligation.
The survey is the most important step. Our surveyor visits your home to assess your roof — its orientation (which direction it faces), angle, available area and any shading from chimneys, trees or nearby buildings. They also look at your current electricity usage, your consumer unit (fuse box), and the overall condition of your property. This information lets us design a system that is genuinely suited to your home rather than providing a generic quote. The survey is at no cost and there is no obligation to proceed.
For battery storage, the surveyor also assesses where a battery could be installed (typically in a garage, utility room or loft), and checks that your existing setup is compatible if you already have solar panels.
How Do I Compare My Solar Quotes?
After the survey we provide clear, comparable quotes for a system designed for your home, with no pressure to proceed.
After the survey, we provide clear, comparable quotes for a system designed for your home. Depending on what you're interested in, this may include options for solar PV only, solar PV with battery storage, or battery storage added to an existing system. Each quote sets out the system size, the equipment included, the 0% VAT treatment (which applies until 31 March 2027), and any finance options. We install through MCS-certified partners, so you know the installation meets the recognised quality standard for renewable technology in the UK.
We want you to feel informed and unhurried. Take your time to review the quotes, ask questions and decide what is right for you. There is no pressure to proceed.
How Is the Solar Installation Carried Out?
Installation is carried out by our MCS-certified partner, typically completed in one to two days, including panels, inverter and any battery.
If you decide to go ahead, the installation is carried out by our MCS-certified partner. For a typical residential solar PV installation, the work is usually completed within one to two days, though more complex installations may take longer. The process includes fitting the mounting system to your roof, installing the panels, fitting the inverter, and connecting the system to your consumer unit. If you are having a battery installed, this is fitted at the same time.
Once the installation is complete, the system is tested and commissioned, and you are shown how to monitor your generation and usage. Your installer also registers your system and provides the relevant documentation.
