Who We Are

Solar Quote Scotland is a trading name of Scot Energy Efficiency Ltd, company number 17408629, registered office 66 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NA. We are part of the Scottish Energy Efficiency network. Our team is Scottish-based and we arrange surveys and quotes for homeowners and businesses across the country. We are not an installation company ourselves — we install through MCS-certified partners, which means your installation is carried out to the recognised quality standard for renewable technology in the UK.

What We Do

We arrange no-obligation surveys and quotes for solar PV panels and battery storage. When you enquire, one of our advisors contacts you within one working day to arrange a survey at a time that suits you. Our surveyor visits your property, assesses your roof orientation, angle, shading, available space and your current electricity usage, then we provide clear, comparable quotes for a system suited to your home or business. The survey and quotes are at no cost and there is no obligation to proceed. If you decide to go ahead, installation is carried out through our MCS-certified partners. Areas We Cover

We cover all of Scotland — from the Borders to the Highlands, including Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee, Aberdeen, Stirling, Perth, Fife, Ayrshire, Inverness and the surrounding areas. We also arrange surveys in many island communities. Finance and VAT

Until 31 March 2027, solar panels and battery storage for residential installations benefit from 0% VAT — no VAT is added to the cost of panels, batteries or installation labour for qualifying domestic installations. Interest-free credit up to £30,000, subject to status, is available for homeowners who want to spread the cost. Our team can talk you through the options once you have your quotes.
